Industry

An essential driver of success for the RobotX Initiative and its worldwide impact is a robust relationship between ETH and industry. We offer various programs tailored to industry partners interested in advancing robotics research.

Industry Affiliation Program

The industrial affiliate program provides a "window" into the research and innovation activities at ETH RobotX and affords companies the opportunity to enjoy special relationships with faculties, researchers, and students in this area. Specifically, this membership provides you

  • Invitations to the annual symposium and selected meetings, workshops, and robotics seminars.
  • Facilitated access to RobotX faculty.
  • Facilitated access to students and recruitment opportunities.
  • Possibility to conduct student projects with faculties of the RobotX.
  • Promotion with company logo displayed at the RobotX center, public event, and homepage.
  • Company exhibition at the RobotX Innovation Day.

Industry Partnership Program

In addition to the affiliation membership, the industrial partnership program aims for a long term relationship with the following additional beneficts:

  • Participation in the annual Partnership Council and influence in the long-term vision in robotics and AI.
  • The opportunity to send visiting researchers to work at the RobotX center.
  • Early Access to RobotX research programs and their outcomes.
  • Workshops with selected faculties or senior researcher on a topic of interest.

Industry Research Program

The industrial research program provides the opportunity for companies to start or join topic-oriented research projects with two or more RobotX faculties. This creates the possibility to explore new directions for companies in areas where cutting edge research at ETH overlaps with the interest of industrial partners. These projects can range from simple sponsored projects to close collaborations and mutual technology exchange. Partners under this program also enjoy the beneficts of the Affiliation Program.
